All's Quiet on the Midwestern Front....

I tell you it's been really quiet here... which I rather enjoy. Once you have a year of Hell, you never take the "quiet" for granted again.

Let's see saw two movies last week...

Last Chance Harvey with Dustin Hoffman, who just looks wonderful for 71, and Emma Thompson. I like both these actors but it should of been called "Last Resort" because that's when you should see it. It's terribly slow, takes place in London and you could actually feel the time difference, it felt like it was five hours long.

Then with Collin and a friend (don't worry we didn't sit by them) we saw "Paul Blart, Mall Cop", it's rated PG, and it was really really funny! Cute, not very "kiddy" at all. Adam Sandler was a producer and I always like the music in his movies, you can tell he picks them himself, and it always 80's or 90's music, and there is always a song you have totally forgot about and then you hear it and remember you loved it.

In "50 First Dates" it was this one...
311 "Whenever"

"The Wedding Singer"....
Elvis Costello "Everyday I write the book"

......and totally forgot about this one till we saw "Mall Cop"
Survivor "I can't hold back"

I'm not a huge Adam Sandler fan, but I always like the music in his movies, yes even "Zohan". Okay, maybe not "Zohan". :-)

We just got missed with a snow storm, looks like it hit Georgia's.... sorry, well not really, just glad it's not here! :-)

....missing the 80's.
